Host A Media Event

One of the best ways to create brand buzz for your new menu, dish or product, is to host an exciting media event. By inviting the press and media along to experience your restaurant or new product, you are much more likely to entice them to write, praise and create a story around it.

If you want the media to like your brand, they have to like your host.  By hiring an experienced host, you can be confident that your key event will be a success. I can help create a talking point and a more personalised experience for your attendees.

Case Study: Way Of Wagamamas

Wagamamas approached me to host a series of media events to create some buzz for their delicious new menu. I hosted four evenings with their Executive Head Chef Steve Mangleshot for the press and online bloggers. There were two evenings in London, one in Cardiff and one in Manchester with around 25 attendees.

I spent time discussing the association between our flavour preferences and our personality and analysed everyone's meals. Twitter was chock full of Wagamama dishes during the evenings and the feedback from the events and online write-ups were incredible. Everyone loved the personalisation and the great food! For this campaign, the PR team at Kazoo drummed up 90 pieces of coverage over a month and the sales of dishes that were featured rose by 10% during the campaign.

Want My Help With Your Upcoming Campaign?

Due to the number of campaign requests I receive, I, unfortunately, cannot work with everyone. If you are interested in hiring me for your upcoming campaign, please schedule a campaign call with me.

Once you click the Schedule A Call With Christy button you will be able to schedule a 10 minute Introductory Campaign Call with me.  This initial call is an opportunity for us to see if I am the right fit for the campaign and if I feel I can help you.

If we decide to go ahead, we can schedule a free Campaign Planning Session. This is an opportunity for your food branding client, yourself and I to plan my potential involvement in the campaign, how I could support it and outline the key campaign objectives. During this session we can also discuss costs. If we decide to work together on the campaign then I will create a campaign plan for outlining my services. This will detail costs, the agreed timeline and deliverables.

My Clients

To date I have worked on over 40 food brand campaigns, here are some of the fantastic clients I have worked with.

Dr Christy Fergusson’s knowledge is so vast as a food psychologist, she has a vibrant personality and character that comes through vividly as a spokesperson. When people mention their favourite sweet snack or unhealthy meal, her perception of food and expertise in staying healthy always shines through as an immediate alternative.
